Introduction

Learn how to setup various HVAC application, and configurations, connection etc.

  1. Home - Menu - Advanced - Parametar Fan 1 motor type : EC motor      Fan 1 controlled by : Pressure sensor    Fan 1  sensor type : Analog Input AI1
    • Home - Menu - Advanced - Parametar

    • Fan 1 motor type : EC motor Fan 1 controlled by : Pressure sensor Fan 1 sensor type : Analog Input AI1

    • Reading value from pressure sensor in range from 0-10VDC on analog input 1.

    • Analog output (AO1) for control fan1 speed 0-10VDC (duct air pressure).

    • BIN - Binary input for alarm or filter indication.

    • UI - Universal input for alarm or filter indication.

    • Analog output (AO2) for control fan2 speed 0-10VDC (duct air pressure).

  2. Connection Codis CP with FAN1. Analog output 1 is 0-10VDC.
    • Connection Codis CP with FAN1. Analog output 1 is 0-10VDC.

    • Analog input 1 (0-10VDC). It used only to control Fan 1. Different sensor can be connected to the analog input : Pressure, Temperature,Humidity, Air Quality.

    • Binary input function: binary input can be used to notify several different external events: Fan alarm, Filter status, Run status. More information you can find in IN/OUT description.

    • UI - Universal input can be used to notify several diffrent external events: Fan alarm, Filter and Run status. Also we can use this input to connect remote temperature sensor PT1000. **Home-Menu-Advanced-Parametars - Fan Controlled by = Temp-Fan 1 sensor type = RTD input.

    • Connection Codis CP with FAN2. Analog output 2 is 0-10VDC.

    • Analog input 2 (0-10VDC). It used to control fan 2. Different sensor can be connected to the analog input : Pressure, Temperature,Humidity, Air Quality.

    • BACnet MS/TP network.

  3. Power supply 24 V AC (G;G0).
    • Power supply 24 V AC (G;G0).

    • Bacnet MS/TP network (D+;D-;SC).

    • Analog input 1 (AI1;M).

    • RTD input (RTD;RTD).

    • Binary input (BIN;BIN).

    • Analog output 1(AO1;M).

    • Analog output 2 (AO2;M).

    • Analog input 2 (AI2;M).

  4. Setpoint Adjustment Home Screen. Clicking + and - buttons in the left columns changes the Pressure Setpoint + or - 0.5 Pa. Setpoint button with an indication of current setpoint value.

    • Measured pressure value

    • Fan speed button, with an indication of the current fan speed.

  5. Manual start Fan 1. Speed is define in speed button. Manual stop Fan 1.

    • Fan speed button.

    • Picture 2. Shows the Manual fan speed Adjustment Home Screen. Clicking + and - buttons in the left columns changes the fan speed + or - 5%.

    • Fan operates in automatic mode according to the PID control.

    • PID - The Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller (PID controller) calculates a difference between measured values and set points. The PID controller minimises the difference between those values by adjusting speed.

  6. In order to control fan in "Automatic" mode, we must set in fan speed button - speed to AUTO. After that, the fan operates in automatic mode according to the PID control.

    • Setpoint control button.

    • Fan Alarm is used to to notify the C35-FAN device if the external fan suffered important error and stops working. Possible states are Off (normal) and On (not normal - find the cause of error). If the alarm turns on, in the C35-FAN device the Home Screen switches to Alarm screen with appropriate error message and blinking red light

    • Reading value from Analog input.

    • Fan speed button.

    • Fan 1 motor type : EC motor Fan 1 controlled by : Temperature Fan 1 sensor type : Analog input,Internal, or RTD Input.

    • For temperature control we can choose on which input the sensor will connect, depending on what kind of sensor we have. Analog input (0-10VDC), or RTD input (PT100). Also if Codis have internal temperature sensor we can use him also.

    • Analog output (AO1) for control fan1 speed 0-10VDC (duct air temperature).

    • Reading value from temperature sensor in range from 0-10VDC on analog input 1.

    • BIN - Binary input for alarm or filter indication.

  9. In order to control fan in "Automatic" mode, we must set in fan speed button - speed to AUTO. After that, the fan operates in automatic mode according to the PID control. Setpoint control button. Reading temperature.

    • Analog output (AO1) for control fan1 speed 0-10VDC (Air Quality).

    • Reading value from air quality sensor (CO2) in range from 0-10VDC on analog input.

    • Alarm indication on Binary input 1

    • In order to control fan in "Automatic" mode, we must set in fan speed button - speed to AUTO. After that, the fan operates in automatic mode according to the PID control.

    • For air quality control we can use external sensor (AI1) or use Codis internal sensor.

    • Analog output (AO1) for control fan1 speed 0-10VDC (Air Humidity). 

    • Reading value from air humidity sensor (rH) in range from 0-10VDC on analog input.

    • Alarm indication on Binary input

    • Setpoint Adjustment Home Screen. Clicking + and - buttons in the left columns changes the air quality Setpoint + or - 1 % rH.

    • In order to control fan in "Automatic" mode, we must set in fan speed button - speed to AUTO. After that, the fan operates in automatic mode according to the PID control.
