Introduction

Learn how to add remote device ID in order to control it from C35CBMS

  1. ONLY AUTHORIZED MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL SHOULD ENTER ADVANCED MENU AND MAKE CHANGES Picture 1. Press Menu Button Picture 2. Press Advanced to enter Advanced menu

    • Picture 1. Press Menu Button

    • Picture 2. Press Advanced to enter Advanced menu

    • Picture 3. Enter Admin Password Menu appears

    • Use the numbers to enter 4 digit factory preset password. Number is being displayed in the blue ribbon

    • Press DEL button to delete incorrect number

    • Press OK to confirm input

  4. Under Devices settings, the User can register up to 8, 16, 24 or 32 devices (C35‐FC or C35‐VAV), depending of the C35‐CBMS device model type. The Devices screen allows 4 devices to be registered at the time To register maximum of 8, 16, 24 or 32 devices, navigate with Previous and Next button through pages

    • Under Devices settings, the User can register up to 8, 16, 24 or 32 devices (C35‐FC or C35‐VAV), depending of the C35‐CBMS device model type. The Devices screen allows 4 devices to be registered at the time

    • To register maximum of 8, 16, 24 or 32 devices, navigate with Previous and Next button through pages

    • NOTE: In order to operate in defined conditions a C35‐FC or C35‐VAV device have to be controlled by just one C35‐CBMS device

    • Device Address: The Device Address (also known as Device ID) is a unique BACnet device number of a targeted device which can have a value between 1 and 127, inclusive. Please, make sure that all targeted devices have properly set Device IDs

    • NOTE: Device ID can be found in Home > Menu > Advanced > Network screen of the targeted C35 device

    • To register a C35‐VAV or C35‐FC device within the C35‐CBMS, press the Device Address button at desired position. A Device ID adjustment screen will open (shown in Picture 2 )

    • Picture 2. Enter the remote device’s ID and click OK button. Make sure that the entered Device ID is the same as theDevice ID of the targeted device

    • If you want to remove registered device just enter 0 as the Device ID

  5. Remote controlled: In the Devices screen, press the Remote Controlled button next to a Device Address to activate or deactivate Remote Controlled feature for that device

    • Remote controlled: In the Devices screen, press the Remote Controlled button next to a Device Address to activate or deactivate Remote Controlled feature for that device

    • When activated, YES text will appear on the Remote Controlled button, otherwise the button will be blank and feature will be disabled for chosen device. Once a Remote controlled feature is active, the device’s working mode can only be managed through the C35‐CBMS device

    • Press Save to confirm changes
