In the Advanced menu go to Parameters menu page 1/6 (link to VAV Parameters instruction) Set parameters to: Cooling sequence: Cooling Cooling / Heating coil: Enabled Dehumidification: Enabled Press Save button. If you change humidity set point on Home screen below measured value, then AO1 (VAV) and AO2 (valve) will start to increase voltage output. Same thing will happen if you lower temperature set point below measured value.
The main difference is in the configuration and control possibilities. We designed C35-FC for fan coil applications and with the purpose to control the room temperature with a fan and a valve actuator(s). On Home screen, you have a room temperature set point and fan speed set point: Home Screen: Setpoints The Analog output 1 (AO1) will control fan speed (0-10V) and the Analog output 2 and 3 will control cooling or/and heating valve actuator depending on the room temperature measurment and the set point. The C35-VAV is designed for ventilation applications and with the purpos to control room temperature and/or air quality with variable air volum box and heating or/and cooling valve actuator(s). The Analog output 1 (AO1) will control VAV box and air flow depending on measured CO2 level and/or room temperature. This can be set in Advanced menu: VAV Parameters The Analog output 2 and 3 will control heat exchanger valve actuator(s) if it is instaled. If you test the C35-FC and C35-VAV side by side and if they...
In order to control supply air temperature you will need following: (1) Duct temperature sensor PT1000 connected to RTD input (2) Heat exchanger valve actuator (0-10V) connected to AO2 output In Menu -> Advanced -> In/Out menu set RTD input function to Duct temp PT1000. Duct air temperature will be shown on home screen instead of C35HV internal temperature measurement. In Menu -> Advanced -> HVAC menu set System type to Ventilation & Cooling or Ventilation & Heating if the system is designed only for cooling or if the system is designed only for heating. If the system is designed for both cooling or heating (2-pipe system) set System type to Ventilation & heat or cool. If the system is designed for both cooling and heating (4-pipe system) set System type to Ventilation & heat & cool. In this case you will need two valve actuators (0-10V): (1) Heating valve actuator connected to AO2 (2) Cooling valve actuator connected to AO3 Please see In/Out menu and HVAC menu for more information.
Constant air flow level (MIN, MID, MAX) can be changed in Menu -> Setpoints on page 3/3 (video instruction). The 0-100% value represents 0-10 V on Analog output 1 (AO1). Example: If you set Air Flow MAX to 95% analog output 1 value will be 9.5 V Learn more about Setpoints menu here
Hi Leif,
thank you for your interest in our products.
Regarding sensors and actuators, on the C35 hardver platform we have:
- 3 x 0-10 V outputs (VAV actuator or fan coil, heating and/or coling valve actuators)
- 1 x analog input for RTD1000 temperature sensore (NTC is not supported)
- 1 x 0-10V input for duct CO2 sensor or return signal from VAV actuator
- 1 x binary input for window contact or PIR sensor
- BACnet/MSTP (RS485) communication
Depending on room HVAC application we provide difrent software versions of the C35 hardver:
- C35.FC for fan coil application
- C35.VAV for VAV actuator controls
- C35.FV for fan coil and VAV control (fan coil and valves are controled with analog signals, VAV is controled and configured with BACnet
- C35.FAN for two ECM fan control (kitchen fans or other applications)
All of our BACnet devices could be connected to our web platform with the KOERbox gateway.
Feel free to contact me directly at marko.lasic@koer.com.
I would be happy to show you all capabilites of KOER products.
